“We do what we call peer review mechanism where we go round and see what you have done. We ask you to give IPAC the opportunity to showcase what you have done in Ebonyi State because the much you have achieved so far should not be burried.
Again we see your masterstroke in entrepreneurship by lifting people out of poverty through your grants for hawkers”

He said IPAC leadership was in Abakaliki as part of it’s national responsibilities of conducting elections for opposition political and all political parties.

“We are going to put the umbrella body of all political parties in the state together to ensure smooth running and peaceful coexistence in the state”

Responding, Governor Nwifuru expressed his administration’s readiness to work with all political parties to achieve cohesion and peace in Ebonyi State.

The Governor said his administration shall continue to strive to better the lots of Ebonyi people through robust economic policies and development that would place the State on the global map.

He assured IPAC leadership of State Government’s support to do their election without any disturbance or undue interference.

“The election you people are here to conduct, whoever wins I am not interested. I am not interested in your election and my party Chairman is here. I don’t have enemies, what I have are political opponents”

“In 2015 and even 2019, I was in PDP and today there is no PDP flag here. When I was there, they supported me and I won’t count them as enemies. They voted for me for three straight tenures before I left. So I don’t see opposition parties as enemies because the person who is your opponent may be in the same political party with you tomorrow ”

The Governor further expressed happiness over the modest achievements he has recorded in the State and assured that his administration would pursue industrialization as one of the keys to development in the State.
