Residents and Indigenes of Leposo, Imogun and Igbogbo communities along Sagamu-Ikorodu Road in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State have begged Ogun state government to intervene in the land dispute issues in his community Read more:

The Communities accused a notorious land grabber, Chief Kamurudeen Lamina a.k.a Sir K. Oluwo and his accomplices of invading about 1,008 hectares of Land belonging to the communities.

A member of the community, Chief Nurudeen Alowole Adesanya who spoke on behalf of the community in an interview with newsmen said many people had invaded the community land and fingered Sir k. Oluwo as the prime suspect.

Chief Adesanya said Sir k. Oluwo was invited by one Otunba Olukoya Adeleke Adedoyin who claimed to have bought all the land in the three communities.

While explaining to the press, the communities’ spokesman explained that the land was located on Sagamu-Ikorodu Road in the Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State where LAFARGE CEMENT WAPCO NIGERIA PLC was situated.

He added that there was a judgement against the LAFARGE CEMENT WAPCO NIGERIA PLC and Ogun State Government on the land in April, 2018 holding at Sagamu Judicial Division before Hon Justice E.O.Osinuga.

According to him suddenly we saw Chief Adedoyin claiming our Land in Leposo, Imogun and Igbogbo communities in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State.

Chief Adesanya explained further that Otunba Adedoyin bought only eight hectares of Land from one of the family members who claims that the Ogun state government has paid him all compensation when the state government took over the land from the family.

We want the general public to know that the piece of Land in dispute belongs to Leposo, Imogun and Igbogbo family and not Chief Adedoyin as claimed by him.

Many people have been invading the land claiming they have Certificate of Occupancy on some parts of the land while Sir K oluwo is claiming that all the land belong to Chief Adedoyin, The Land is about 1008 hectares.

Myth has it that Chief Lamina a.k.a sir k oluwo claimed that he bought the Land from different families whom he said were all fead.

Sir K Oluwo was also said to have claimed that he is the owner of the expanse of Land that spread across the three communities in the area.

Chief Adesanya therefore appealed to the Inspector General of Police kayode Egbetokun, Ogun State Police command Abiodun Alamutu and Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State to look into the matter in order to avoid any untoward problem in the community.
