A strong ally of Senator Olamilekan Adeola, Yayi, Alh. Azeez Ayomikun Ibrahim has called on all residents of the Yewa area of Ogun State to continue to support their own, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi in his bid at governing the gateway State come 2027.

Alh Ibrahim who spoke while meeting with the Yayi Support group in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital said the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial district remains a very strong factor who has all it takes to govern the State.

He urged all the support groups to remain focused and ensure that they work for the actualisation of the governorship bid of Senator Yayi come 2027.

While lamenting that since the creation of the State in 1976, nobody from Yewa extraction has been elected as governor, but saying that by 2027, that jinx will be broken when Yayi emerges as governor.

He attributed the reasons why the position of Governor has been eluding Yewas due to the non-presentation of capable and acceptable contestants from the zone.

He also said lack of unity, mutual understanding and divisiveness has continued to rob the zone of the position.

“Now we are united and we can now speak with one voice as Senator Olamilekan Adeola Yayi has all that it takes to take Ogun State to the promised land come 2027.

Speaking on the qualities of Yayi, Alh Ibrahim said the senator representing Ogun West is known for scoring several firsts in his stellar political career so far, the latest being the first Nigerian to win senatorial elections in 2 different states.

He left his seat as the senator of Lagos West and took his newly one role as the senator of Ogun West.

We have a strong conviction that Senator Yayi remains the best option for the Ogun West folks to have one of Our own to govern Ogun State for the first time.

Alh Azeez Ayomikun Ibrahim  appeals to all Nigerians to exercise patience with the government as it grapples with the painful efforts to find lasting solutions to the myriad of problems besetting the nation.
