The National Working Committee of Labour Party has dissolved Engr. Jagun Lookman Abiodun led caretaker committee in Ogun State.

The Party has also reinstated the Comrade Michael Ashade led Executive to reposition the party for effective service in the State.

Labour Party in a letter addressed to the Independent National Electoral Commission in Abuja and Ogun State and signed by its acting National Chairman, Alh. Bashiru Lamidi Apapa and Alh. Saeh Laýal Acting National Secretary, said the reinstatement of Micheal Ashade led Exco is expected to provide effective leadership for the party by ensuring its growth and development.

“With the reinstatement of Micheal Ashade led Exco it is expected that they will be able to provide effective leadership for the party by ensuring its growth and development in terms of membership drive, providing a voice for the voiceless, canvassing alternative government policies in line with our philosophy and ideology.

“Members for the Reinstated Democratic Elected Executives are as follows:
Comrade Michael Ashade- State Chairman, Engr. Segun Michael Feyisola- State Secretary, Oyewale Okusanya – Assistant State Secretary, Prince Tosin Meadows Ogunbona Senatorial Chairman Central State Organizing Secretary/Ag. Comrade Ismail Uzor Ishiguzo – Assistant State Youth Leader East/Ag. State, Treasurer.

Others are “Otunba Yinka Adeboye- Deputy State Chairman Central, Babaseun Ogunyemi – Auditor/Ag. Senatorial Chairman East, Mr. Olufemi Olusola – Senatorial Chairman West, Mr. Godwin Kayode Adeleye- Ag. Assistant State Youth Leader West, Mr. Elizabeth Temidayo Oliseh Samuel – State Financial SecretarylAg. Sate, Women Leader.

Also reinstated are “Comrade Adebiyi Adekunle-Assistant State Youth Leader Central/Ag. State Youth Leader, Dr. Theophilus Igbozuruike- Ag. State Publicity Secretary, Mrs. Caroline Yejide Oguntola Deputy State Chairman West and Barr. Monday Mawah – State Legal Adviser

The Party said the letter of reinstatement supersedes any other letter relating or
connected therein with Ogun State which has earlier been served on the commission on the 4h of January 2023 but dated 3rd January 2023.
