G-NUB Gives Humanitarian Support To Sickle Cell Orphanage Children In Agulu

A prestigious social club from Agulu, the Great Nnegodi United Brothers(G-NUB) has recently visited the sickle cell orphanage and underprivileged home to celebrate the new year and also support vulnerable children living with sickle cell disorder.
The group which comprised of eminent individuals from Nnegodi village Agulu, was founded to promote unity and foster brotherhood among it’s members.
The president of G-NUB, Hon Sam Chijioke Izuegbu, while speaking, commended the home for it’s passionate response and solutions to the challenges of sickle cell disorder. He encouraged the children to be steadfast and remain hopeful. Hon Izuegbe further spoke on the group’s determination to continue supporting the home and to make G-NUB a household name in humanitarian gestures.
In a separate representation, the vice president, Anambra State Diaspora Worldwide (ASA-World) Hon Tony Ikeotuonye, presented the sickle cell home with an industrial printer on behalf of ASA- World Secretary General, Hon Chidas Asidianya.
Director of the sickle cell orphanage and underprivileged home Agulu, Mrs Aisha Edward Maduagwu, while receiving the visitors, extolled the humanitarian prowess of G-NUB.
She noted the visit from G-NUB to be of great important and called on other social clubs to emulate them by giving back to the society. She thanked both G-NUB and ASA-WORLD for strengthening the bonds of brotherhood in their respective organizations, through the pursuit of common goals that impacts positively on humanity.
G-NUB later donated some cash and relief materials etc, in celebration of the new year, while they where prayed for by the children in the sickle cell orphanage and underprivileged home.
