The All Progressives Congress (APC) flag-bearer for the forthcoming Local Government election in Ezza South Local Government Area, Barr. Chinedu Mkpuma, has congratulated Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all the party’s Senatorial, House of Representatives and House of Assembly candidates over their victories in the just-concluded APC primary elections.
Mkpuma made this known in a press statement issued by his media team and made available to journalists in Abakaliki.
The APC chieftain expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the exercise across the state, attributing the success of the primaries to what he described as the administrative ingenuity of Governor Nwifuru.
He also commended party stakeholders and faithful for their massive turnout and support for APC candidates during the exercise.
According to him, the victories recorded by the party’s candidates reflected the confidence reposed in them by members of the APC.
Mkpuma expressed optimism that the party would emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections, insisting that the candidates are individuals of proven integrity and competence.
He urged all APC members and supporters to remain united and vote for the party’s candidates at all levels, describing it as the surest way of strengthening the APC in Ebonyi State and appreciating the sacrifices of the governor.
The Ezza South APC flag-bearer maintained that the present administration in the state has fulfilled several of its campaign promises, including the dualization of roads in Abakaliki, construction of rural concrete roads, bridges in Ezza North and Ivo Local Government Areas, as well as community road projects across Izzi, Ohaukwu, Ikwo, Ishielu, Afikpo, Ohaozara and Onicha council areas.
He further pledged to mobilise massive support for all APC candidates in future elections if elected in the 2026 Ebonyi Local Government polls.
Mkpuma particularly described the victories of Kenneth Eze, Chinedu Ogah and Friday Ogbuewu as well deserved, noting that their emergence alongside those of Governor Nwifuru and President Tinubu was a reflection of the people’s confidence in their leadership.
