In a trending video, the man claimed he travelled from the Akoko area to Owo in search of employment.

He insisted that he found the underwear at a location where he had gone to bathe and decided to pick them up.

He further alleged that he had earlier encountered a mentally unstable woman with whom he claimed to have had sexual relations, adding that the woman handed the nylon bag containing the items to him.

Eyewitnesses said youths in the area questioned the suspect’s intentions and accused him of possible involvement in ritual activities commonly linked to internet fraud.

The allegations were repeatedly denied by the suspect.
