More than 300 members of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability (PRIFGLA) converged at the residence of the organization’s founder, Chief Pastor Reuben Wilson aka “the Peoples General” to mark his 55th birthday.

The celebration, which the attendees described as a tribute to a life dedicated to humanitarian impact, also served as a platform for Wilson to extend his “milk of human kindness” to the local community.
In a gesture of goodwill, the celebrant organized a free medical outreach in Koluama community, providing essential health services to residents. Additionally, over 150 senior citizens accros Bayelsa State received cash gifts of N10,000 each, intended to help alleviate the hardships brought about by the country’s challenging economic climate.⁰
The National Director General of PRIFGLA, Hon. Eseimokumo Soko said the initiative decided to celebrate Pastor Reuben Wilson because of his visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to excellence, and generous spirit.
Soko noted that Pastor Reuben has transformed countless lives across Nigeria and beyond, adding that under his guidance, PRIFGLA has grown from a local initiative into a global movement, empowering youths, fostering good governance, and nurturing a culture of service and accountability.
He said that the countless projects, scholarships, and community outreach programmes stand as a testament to his selfless dedication and the profound impact to countless lives.
“:As you celebrate this milestone, we thank God for the gift of your life, your wisdom, and the inspiration you continue to provide to us all. We pray that the Almighty grants you many more years of good health, joy, and continued success in all your endeavors.”
Hon. Erepamowei Ogbomo, Special Adviser to Pastor Reuben C. Wilson on Scholarship and Student Engagement, conveyed a goodwill message from the hundreds of students who are beneficiaries of the scholarship scheme across several states expressed gratitude for Wilson’s “courageous leadership” in financing their education, noting that such generosity coming from someone outside their family, community or state is rare.
“The only way we can show our appreciation is to celebrate you and pray that God continues to bless the work you have done,” Ogbomo said on behalf of the scholars. He added that the beneficiaries pray for Wilson’s long life, hoping he will “reap the fruits of his labour.”
Comrade Seiyefe Bikikoro, Chairman LGA Coordinator Forum Of Pastor Reuben Initiative For Good Leadership and Accountability (PRIFGLA), Hon. Chief Jonathan Eride, Cordinator Southern Ijaw L.G.A, Hon Princess Gospel, Woman Leader/ Cordinator Of The Local Government Women Leader and Hon. Atizara Zikpobebe, Ekeremor L G.A Coordinator described Pastor Reuben C. Wilson, as “a God‑sent, a blessing to humanity” and a self‑less leader who places the empowerment of his followers above his own needs.
They also commended Wilson’s generosity, saying he “gives to others before giving to himself” and has consistently invested his own resources to support PRIFGLA’s programmes across the country. “He is a wonderful man, a blessing to humanity,”.
The PRIFGLA LGAs Cordinators said, “We wish him long life, prosperity and God’s divine grace every day. May God raise him above his contemporaries and bless him beyond measure.”
Responding on behalf of her husband, Mercy Reuben Wilson expressed gratitude for PRIFGLA members who have turned out enmass to celebrate her husband, saying that her husband has always shown love to members of PRIFGLA.
She noted that her husband will do all within his power to continue to render selfless service to humanity ” my husband cherish all of you, he has always wish to see you happy and in so doing he is happy too that is the kind of man my husband is”.
