Versatile Nigerian actor, Ibrahim Chatta, is currently making headlines after a report of his earnings surface on social media.

Veteran actor, Mustapha Bakare Otolo disclosed the details in a trending interview online.

Oloto made the disclosure in a now trending video while discussing why it’s difficult for veteran actors to produce cinema movies.

He explained that while many of the veteran actors are earning N250,000 to appear in a movie, Chatta’s value has risen to N5 million.

“If Ibrahim Chatta appears on a movie set, he has been paid N5 million. That’s the amount he currently charges. He is the highest paid actor presently. So, my point is that he can do up to 20 jobs in a month. I brought him to my movie, ‘Jigi’ set in Ogbomoso recently.

“You can’t compare him and other young actors to some of us that are being paid between N250,000 – N300,000 and appear in just one or two films in a month. So, that is the reason it’s difficult for some of us the veterans to produce cinema movies,” he stated.
