Hon. Werinipre Pamoh, member representing Kolokuma Constituency I in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, has marked his birthday in a unique way by extending kindness to people living with disabilities in his constituency.
The lawmaker distributed essential items such as wheelchairs, clutches, and sunshade glasses to the disabled persons, bringing joy and appreciation to the recipients. One of the beneficiaries noted that it was the first time a politician had taken the time to dine and wine with them, highlighting the significance of the gesture.

When asked about extending his largesse beyond his constituency, Hon. Pamoh explained that as an elected officer, he believes in serving the greater good, noting that Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency one and two share a common bond, and his father’s roots in Sabagreia, Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency II, further solidify his commitment to serving the area.
In addition to supporting the disabled, Hon. Pamoh also provided textbooks to ten secondary schools in his constituency, including seven government schools and three private schools.
According to the lawmaker the initiative is aimed to alleviate the financial burden on students and promote education in the area.

Pamoh advised his constituents to be patient and supportive of the state governor, whom he described as a good man. He urged them to give the governor time to deliver on his promises, emphasizing the importance of patience and tolerance in reaping the dividends of good governance.
Speaking, one of the beneficiaries, Mr. Winmaebe Anderson who is the Coordinator, Joint National Association of Persons With Disability Kolga Chapter expressed joy at the gesture, saying that he was overwhelmed.
He thanked Hon. Pamoh for his magnanimity by extending his love and kindness to persons out of his Constituency and prayed to God to continue to bless him.
