Kano court sentences man to death by hanging for killing his friend over cap
A Kano High Court sitting in Miller Road of Kano City has sentenced a man to death by hanging after he was found guilty of the murder of his friend.
The convict, Adamu Isma’ilaArzai, was charged to court sometime in 2016 after he was suspected to have stabbed the deceased, Auwal Shehu Kabara, during a fistfight over a hat while on their way on a business trip to Bauchi.

During the trial, prosecution counsel, Wahida Isma’il, presented five witnesses and the accused defended himself.
Delivering judgement, Justice Muhammad Musa Karaye, said it had been established beyond reasonable doubt that the offence was committed.
