Body of a young woman found hanging from a tree in Gombe community
A young woman identified simply as Maryam has allegedly ‘committed suicide’ in Panmana community, Kaltungo Local Government Area of Gombe State.

It was gathered that the body of the young lady was found hanging from a tree in a mountainous area of the community in the early hours of Friday, March 14, 2025.
The tragic incident is said to have left the entire community of Panmana shaken and seeking answers.
Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of this report, however, some people pointed out that her knees appeared to be touching the ground, suggesting that it may not be suicide.
