hly allowance of N77,000.
Ahmed disclosed this in Abuja during the commissioning of a staff bus donated by Capital Express Insurance Company.

He stated that arrangements for the increased allowance have been finalised.

The NYSC DG reiterated his commitment to the welfare and security of corps members, assuring them that by 2025, they will receive all the benefits they deserve.

Salient Times reports that NYSC members have been receiving N33,000 monthly despite President Bola Tinubu signing the new national minimum wage bill into law in July 2024.

The newly commissioned bus is intended to address transportation challenges faced by NYSC staff.

Ahmed acknowledged the difficulties that staff and corps members encounter while commuting to and from their offices.
