Former president of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and ex governor of kwara state Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has been described as a youths friendly and visionary Leader who has created different platforms aimed at encouraging youths emancipation, empowerment and growth.

Director of Football ABS FC Ilorin High Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka stated this in Ilorin Tuesday during the official draws and unveiling ceremony of Waziri of Ilorin Football tournament in honor of the president of the 8th NASS.

Chukwuemeka who was a guest at the event charged youths in kwara state and Nigeria to maximize the opportunities created by Saraki in both sports and other endeavors to better their future.

He said that aside being a youths friendly leader, that whoever associates with Saraki ,associates with success, even as he took time to lecture the youths on Saraki’s antecedents and legacies which were youths friendly.

The former Executive Secretary of the NPFL Club owners Association of Nigeria mentioned the establishment of kwara Football ACADEMY, ABS Football club, the Aviation college, Songa farm, ABS foundation, kwara state university and host of others as Saraki’s legacies aimed at fostering the growth and development of youths.

Chukwuemeka said ABS FC is the only club in Nigeria today that conducted a Nationwide scouting program across Nigeria and has three clubs in one namely ABS FC Professional side in the NNL, ABS U19 youth team in the National youth league as well as the ABS FC/PTDP special talent development
program team.

He assured the organizers of the Waziri of Ilorin tournament that ABS would absorb the Most valuable player of the tournament automatically into the team and also present a complete set of team jersy to the winners.

Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki was represented at the event by a former member of the kwara state house of Assembly Hon. Moshood Bakare who performed the official kick off to declare the tournament open.

The final of the tournament will hold on the 19th of December 2024 to mark the birthday of His Excellency Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the Waziri of Ilorin.
