A 45-year-old man, simply identified as Kazeem, has allegedly committed suicide after taking a hard drug, known as colorado by jumping into a river at the Alagbado area of Lagos State.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement yesterday said on October 11, at about 11am, a complaint was received at Alagbado division.
Hundeyin said that the deceased under the influence of a hard drug, and jumped into a river at Odo Tente boundary between Lagos and Ogun states. He added that the victim drowned in the river.
Hundeyin, however, said the scene was immediately visited by detectives of the division and photographs of the deceased were taken, while his father was contacted through his phone and directed that the deceased corpse should be buried immediately by the river side according to tradition
