According to him, the payment of the new minimum wage, set to commence in August, is a reaffirmation of his administration’s commitment to the welfare of civil servants in the state.

He wrote, “As a demonstration of our commitment to the welfare of workers in Adamawa State, I have approved the payment of a ₦70,000 minimum wage starting this August. Our civil servants deserve this and more. Together, we will continue to build a prosperous future for all.”

This announcement follows Governor Fintiri’s earlier pledge during the 2024 May Day celebration to implement the Federal Government’s decision on the new minimum wage.
