The Office of the Senior Special Assistants to The President on Community Engagement from the Six Geopolitical Zones paid a courtesy call for a strategic partnership with the President of the Senate and it’s Leadership

The OSSA-P on Community Engagement Hon Abdullahi Yakasai while speaking commended and appreciated the efforts of the Senate President and his colleagues as they have passed quick and critical bills beneficial to Nigeirans since assumption of office towards provision of the School Feeding program , Students Loans, etc, which are critical part of the 8 point Agenda of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu across the 36 States of the Federation.

According to SSA-P’s Hon. Yakasai who stated that is intention to establish a very cordial partnership with the Senate where the SSAP’s will be part of the constitutional reviews and also form a Team that will constitute feedback mechanism on the perception of the government to the Senate.

The Senate President Distinguish Senator Godswill Akpabio welcomed the SSAP’s and pointed out that it was wise of them to have come to the Senate Leadership and present themselves and their office

Senator Akpabio, after reiterating the immense importance of their office also advised that there’s a need for them to educate their constituents on the programs and policies of Mr President so that people know what is going on.

Meanwhile, the President of the Senate has requested that the SSAP’s should give feedback on programs , policies , and security situations in their zones, while thanking the OSSAP’s for presented him with a plaque of Exemplary leadership in the 10th Assembly
