Sen. Nwebonyi commends President Tinubu for assigning Sen. Umahi into works ministry

The Senator representing, Ebonyi North Senatorial District Zone, Senator Barrister Onyekachi Peter Nwebonyi has
commended the President of Nigeria, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu for assigning Senator Umahi into Works Ministry.
He assured Nigerians of Senator Umahi’s professional acumen to transforming Nigeria into a Dubai of West Africa.
Senator Nwebonyi also congratulated the Distinguished Senator Representing Ebonyi South Senatorial district and immediate past governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Engineer Senator David Nweze Umahi on his newest portfolio as the Minister for Works of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Senator Nwebonyi, however, described Senator Umahi as infrastructural magician, whose track records on infrastructural imprints in Ebonyi State within his periods as governor has no match across the country.
He said; ‘The era for infrastructural transformation in Nigeria has come with Senator Umahi in charge of works Ministry’
‘I eulogized President Tinubu, because he is a leader that is knowledgeable with the capacity, competence and expertise of men and women,he has assembled to be part of his government.’
Senator Nwebonyi, who is the Vice Chairman Senate Committees of both Public Accounts and Water Resources ,
noted with certainty that most federal roads in Southeast zone and particularly Ebonyi-Benue-Otuokpo Federal roads will receive utmost attention with Senator Umahi heading Works Ministry.
He attributed this newest assignment as the result of Senator Umahi’s evergreen roles for the emergence of President Bola Tinubu during recent presidential election.
He thanked the Governor of Ebonyi State,His Excellency, Rt Honourable Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for giving all the accelerated supports in the wake of connecting Ebonyi State properly into the political mainstream of Nigeria.
