Ogun: Akinlesi Condoles With Alaperu Over Wife’s Demise
The demise of Olori Kafilat Kehinde Idowu-Basibo has been described as a great loss to Iperu Community.
The Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Dr. Rotimiolu Akinlesi stated this during a condolence visit to the palace of the Alaperu of Iperu, Oba Adeleke Adelekan Idowu-Basibo, Odoru V, in Iperu, Ogun State.
He sympathised with the monarch, describing the olori as a respected and down-to-earth woman, who would be missed, not only by the royal family but the entire Iperu community.
“I was so sad to hear of the passing of Queen Kafilat Kehinde Idowu-Basibo. My heartfelt condolences to the entire Royal Family”.
The Permanent Secretary who is also a Prince of the Odoru Ruling House said, Olori was respected by everyone around Iperu and her dignity and grace were unmatched. Saying, “You lived a good life. May your soul rest in perfect peace. We will miss you.”
Dr Akinlesi assured the monarch of continuous support, praying that God will strengthen and be sufficient for him in this trying period.
“May the Lord console all sons and daughters of Iperu, especially Olori’s children, for the irreparable loss”, he added.
