Femi Kuti Reacts To Brother’s Arrest, Detention
Iconic afrobeat singer, Femi Kuti, has opened up about his younger brother, Seun’s detention.
While attending a concert in France, on Friday night, he stated that the family is solidly behind Seun and that the best lawyer is handling his case.
He added that they are working hard to achieve a favourable outcome.
“Just before we embarked on this tour, my brother, Seun, got arrested. Unfortunately, I can’t talk about it because it’s in court, but I want you all to know that we have one of the best lawyers.
“The family is solidly behind him and we do hope for a positive result at the end of the day,” he stated.
Seun was detained at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department, popularly known as Panti, over an alleged assault on a police officer in a viral video.
The musician’s case is being handled by Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika (SAN) from the legal luminary, Femi Falana’s chamber.
