Actress Gbemi Anjola buried

The remains of the fast-rising actress Gbemi Anjola, who died on Friday after a battle with ovarian cancer, have been buried.

Her colleague Kemi Apesin shared the video of the burial ceremony on Instagram on Sunday.

“No one can question you baba God …everything is over good night Gbemi,” she wrote.

Kemi was part of those who solicited help for Gbemi after the latter was diagnosed with the disease in 2021.

Actor Abimbola Kazeem aka Jigan Babaoja and actress Biodun Okeowo among others paid tributes to Gbemi in the comment section.

Members of the Cherubim and Seraphim church conducted the funeral. The location of the burial was not immediately clear.

Actor Kolawole Ajeyemi also posted a video of the funeral on Instagram, praying that Gbemi would find eternal rest.

He wrote, “End of every human being ☹️☹️ Oba alapa dupe 🤦🏽‍♂️ good bye Gbemi 💔Inna liLlahi wa inna ilevhi rajiun.”
