He said the country is currently facing economic challenges, which he attributed partly to external factors, including the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.

“We are going through a very difficult period which is not our own making, as a result of the war in Middle East. We pray to Almighty Allah to bring peace and stability to the rest of the world,” he said.

The president also acknowledged the outpouring of goodwill messages from Nigerians across the country on the occasion of his birthday, expressing appreciation for the support and prayers.

“I appreciate all of them, and I thank them. It was a deluge of best wishes and I appreciate all Nigerians,” he said.

Tinubu urge citizens to remain hopeful and committed to national development despite ongoing challenges, including issues around electricity supply, rising transportation costs, and inflationary pressures.

Highlighting the resilience of Nigerians, the president expressed confidence that the country would overcome its current difficulties.
