…replaces Olakunle Olalekan Joseph
Following the removal of Olakunle Olalekan Joseph as Asiwaju of Orile-Imo, in Obafemi Owode Local Government area of Ogun State, the town has appointed Chief Adetola Dosunmu as the new Asiwaju of Orile-Imo.
The appointment which was conveyed to news men in a Communique issued at the end of a meeting held on Wednesday at the Palace of Olu of Orile-Imo, said Chief Dosunmu emergence as the new Asiwaju enjoys the support of all sons and daughters of the town.
The Communique issued and signed by Chief Kehinde Adeoso, Secretary – Olu of orile Imo-in-council said the meeting was held under the chairmanship of Oba Reuben Oluwambe Sogaolu, Olu of Orile Imo in Council, with the Council of Baale and esteemed sons and daughters of Orile Imo in attendance, the meeting resolved to appoint Chief Adetola Dosunmu as the new Asiwaju of Orile Imo.
“This decision follows the removal of Mr. Olakunle Olalekan Joseph from the position due to misconduct and open confrontation with the Olu of Orile Imo, particularly after his suspension two weeks ago.
“The community widely welcomed the removal and immediate replacement, expressing jubilation at the outcome.
