“At this point, I want to swiftly inform Kabiyesi of the Land Grabbing Prohibition Law in Ogun State, which prohibits land grabbing and wanton allocation of lands for personal gains,” he stated, adding that government would not tolerate any Kabiyesi involved in such acts.

He further advised the new monarch to support the anti-land grabbing campaign and ensure adequate measures are put in place to curb illegal land activities within the community.

Governor Abiodun also stressed the need for peaceful relations among residents, urging the monarch to mobilise his people towards civic responsibility and support for government initiatives, particularly in boosting internally generated revenue and development.

In his acceptance speech, Oba Ogunbayo expressed gratitude to God, the Ogun State Government, and the people of Isara Remo for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to prioritise development, unity, and inclusive governance.

He also appreciated Governor Abiodun for choosing Isara Remo as the location for the legacy hospital project in, noting that the initiative would enhance healthcare delivery and create employment opportunities.

“I believe the establishment of this legacy hospital will have a lasting impact on our community, providing essential medical services and creating job opportunities for our citizens,” the monarch stated.

Oba Ogunbayo further pledged to align his administration with the state government’s development agenda, focusing on infrastructure, education, youth empowerment, agriculture, and social welfare.
