During the interrogation, a government official can be heard insisting that Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki accompany them to his shrine to demonstrate the effectiveness of the rituals he claims to perform.

The incident has sparked widespread discussions about the crackdown on certain traditional practices and the state’s efforts to enforce the law.

He was taken into custody following allegations that he prepares juju for kidnappers who masquerade as yahoo boys, terrorising the state.
