Bello Turji had issued a serious warning to the Nigerian government to either release his in-law, who was arrested by the security forces in Shinkafi, or he would return to his brutality against the people of the area.

It could also be recalled that the former Governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, lamented that the bandits’ leader has already begun to execute his threat, pointing out that he had already attacked a vehicle along the Jangeru to Cheki road, killing many and setting many vehicles ablaze
