A teenage boy named Monday Ariyo had d!ed after allegedly being flogged “164” minutes times by a teacher at Obada Grammar School in Imeko Afon Local Government Area of Ogun State.

According to @justadetoun on Instagram, boy’s teacher brought a dustbin to class and told the students not to break it.

Ariyo then said, “Is it not our money they used to buy it?”

The teacher reported him to the principal who allegedly said he should be disciplined.

The teacher is then alleged to have flogged the boy 164 times until he collapsed.

He was rushed to the hospital where his situation declined and he passed on.

A video shared online shows his body being put into an ambulance at the Federal Medical Centre in Abeokuta.

Adetoun said they planned to bury him immediately. She stated that she was going to Abeokuta, Ogun State, and warned that there will be hell to pay if the boy is buried before she gets there.

She called on authorities in Ogun State to investigate and ensure justice is served
