Odeda CDC Leaders Visit Speaker Elemide, Back Continuity Agenda

The leadership of the Odeda Local Government Zonal Community Development Committee (CDC) has declared strong support for the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Daisi Olusegun Victor Elemide, during a courtesy visit to his residence in Asero.

The delegation, led by its Chairman, Comrade Iyasere Emmanuel Igbagbodoyin, described the visit as a demonstration of unity and grassroots solidarity across communities in Odeda Local Government Area.

During the engagement, the CDC leadership formally pledged its unwavering support for the continuity of Elemide’s leadership, citing his track record in representation and development.

The group noted that the Speaker has remained accessible to constituents and responsive to the needs of the people at the grassroots level.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Igbagbodoyin said the zonal CDC leadership is convinced that continuity in leadership is essential for sustaining ongoing development initiatives.

He emphasized that stable leadership would further strengthen community engagement and ensure that the interests of Odeda remain well represented within Ogun State.

According to him, Elemide has demonstrated a deep understanding of grassroots governance, which has translated into impactful representation.

The CDC Chairman added that stakeholders across the local government are aligned in their support for the Speaker’s leadership direction.

He maintained that the endorsement reflects the collective will of community leaders who seek sustained progress and inclusive governance.

In his response, Rt. Hon. Daisi Olusegun Victor Elemide expressed appreciation to the delegation for the visit and their show of confidence.

The Speaker described the gesture as a clear reflection of unity and a shared commitment to the advancement of Odeda Local Government.

He reaffirmed his dedication to serving the people with sincerity, transparency, and purposeful representation. Elemide assured the delegation that he remains committed to strengthening Odeda’s voice within Ogun State through quality legislation.

The visit featured the presence of several CDC executives and community leaders, including the Secretary, Mr. Ekundayo Elijah, and Ogun Central Senatorial Women Leader, Alhaja Adeleye Abosede.

Others in attendance included media and welfare officers, women leaders, and representatives of various community development associations within Odeda.

The meeting concluded with prayers for continued success, unity, and a renewed commitment to collective development in Odeda Local Government Area.
