…Commends Leaders, Calls for Unity and Prayers for Nigeria

The Giant Wise Men of Yewa Land, popularly known as G-15, have called on Christians to remain hopeful and steadfast in faith as they celebrate Easter, emphasizing the promise of a glorious future through Christ.
In an Easter message released in Oja-Odan and signed by its President, Idowu Ayomide Joseph, also known as Oloriodo of Oja-Odan Land, the group highlighted the spiritual significance of the season, urging believers to draw strength from the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
According to the group, Easter, which marks the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, symbolizes assurance and the fulfillment of God’s promises to mankind.
“Easter is not only a validation of the teachings and ideals of Jesus Christ but also a reassurance of the fulfillment of promises concerning life and godliness,” the statement read.
The G-15 further urged Nigerians to look beyond the festivities and public holidays associated with Easter, encouraging deeper reflection on the core values of the celebration, including hope, sacrifice, and love.
“As long as we live in the consciousness of these ideals, life will indeed be more abundant and peaceful,” the group stated.
The association also called on Christians not to relent in prayers for the nation and leaders at all levels of government, stressing the importance of spiritual support for national progress.
In the same vein, the group commended political representatives in Yewa Land for their contributions to development in the area. Those acknowledged include Senator Olamilekan Adeola, Hon. Gboyega Isiaka, Hon. Wahab Aruna Egungbohun, and the Chairman of Yewa North Local Government, Dr. Olusola.
The G-15 also expressed appreciation to traditional rulers across Yewa Land for maintaining unity and fostering development within the region.
Additionally, the group extended special gratitude to Alhaji Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, popularly known as Oluomo of Yewa Land, for his generosity toward Christian youths in the area.
They concluded with prayers for continued blessings upon all contributors to the growth and unity of Yewa Land, while wishing Christians a joyful and fulfilling Easter celebration.
