The man then walks up to the doctor and punches him, knocking him to the ground.

This is the second instance of an attack on a doctor in Jammu and Kashmir in a week and has added on to the recent spate of attacks on doctors and other medical staff members in different parts of the country.

Following the assault on the doctor at SMHS hospital, medical staff shut their services and launched a protest demanding better security for medical staff carrying out their duties.
