The Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, has assured Nigerians that despite the current economic challenges, there is still hope for a better future.

The revered monarch made this known on Friday in Sokoto during the observance of the new moon of Zulki’ida, which marks the beginning of the 11th month in the Islamic calendar.

The Sultan also called on leaders at all levels to intensify efforts in addressing the suffering of the people and to ensure that relief reaches those in need. He emphasized unity, prayer, and collective responsibility as vital tools in overcoming the nation’s challenges.

He further encouraged Nigerians to remain steadfast in their faith, especially during these trying times, and to continue praying for peace, stability, and economic recovery across the country.
