Lagos police arrest father, friend for defiling and impregnating stepdaughter

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 38-year-old man alongside his friend for allegedly d#filing and impr@gnating his 14-year-old stepdaughter.

In a statement released, the spokesperson of the command, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the suspects allegedly conspired to sexu.@lly defile the girl in Okokomaiko area of the state.

He mentioned that the survivor’s mother was the one who reported the unfortunate incident at the Okokomaiko Police Division last Friday.

“The survivor’s mother said that her daughter was defiled by her husband and his friend. The case was transferred from the Okokomaiko police division to the Gender Unit Ikeja. The survivor is now carrying a nine-month pregnancy,” Hundeyin said

According to him, the case will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded.
