Rivers Angels Football Club is poised to usher in a fresh era as they introduce their new head coach, Tosan Blankson, along with the team’s squad and jerseys for the upcoming season. The grand unveiling will take place on Sunday, January 12th at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium Elekahia , providing fans and media an exclusive preview ahead of the league kick-off.
Speaking through the club’s media platform, General Manager Mrs. Matilda Otuene-Onyiloha emphasized the significance of connecting with supporters and showcasing the team that will represent Rivers State in the forthcoming season.
“This is a new chapter for Rivers Angels. We want our supporters to meet the players who will proudly wear the badge of Rivers State as the league begins on January 15th,” she said. “We deeply appreciate our fans and urge them to attend in large numbers on Sunday at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium. This unveiling is for them, and we look forward to celebrating with them at the stadium.”
Rivers Angels will officially begin their season on January 15th with a home clash against Ibom Angels at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.
