The Pepperest Travel and Tour U20 Championship is reaching its climax, with Mazzola FC facing off against Barracks FC in the grand final on Sunday, January 5th, at the Ekpan Police Station Barracks. The highly anticipated match is scheduled to kick off at 12 noon.
To add to the excitement, top dignitaries have pledged their support for the grassroots soccer tournament. Notable attendees will include Delta State Football Association Chairman, Chief Godwin Adode; Uvwie Local Government Chairman, Chief Anthony Ofoni; State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Francis Arhiyor; and Chief Abive Erute, President General of the Uvwie Improvement Union.
The day’s events will commence with a third-place match between Top Stars FC and Joetia FC. DJ Akaba and other entertainment stars will provide additional entertainment to kick off the 2025 soccer season in Delta State.
