The incident, which occurred around 3:15 pm, saw the culprits making off with the entire cargo of spaghetti.

According to an eyewitness, the driver had parked the truck by the roadside to observe prayers when the hoodlums struck, looting all the cartons of spaghetti before fleeing the scene.

This incident comes on the heels of another attack just a week ago, where hoodlums hijacked trailers loaded with foodstuffs in the Suleja area of Niger State, stealing bags of rice and other items in the midst of widespread hardship in the country.

According to eyewitnesses, a police team deployed to the scene managed to apprehend five suspects in connection with the crime.

The eyewitness described the incident as unfortunate and regrettable, stating that such an act had never occurred around the area since he had been trading there for more than 10 years.
