No fewer than eight persons feared dead on Tuesday in a road mishap between Ngiibo,Katsina-Ala while heading to Zaki Biam in Benue State.

An eyewitness disclosed that the Driver of Toyota Corolla described by observers as “Dog Nyash ” conveying passengers had head on collision when the vehicle dodge a potholes unfortunately veered another lane which resulted to accident claiming four females and four males instantly.

He added two children escaped death by the whiskers and were receiving treatment on multiple injuries sustained in the hospital.

Our source also hinted the crashed vehicles were severely damaged as result of the mishap.

While speaking to journalists on Wednesday on the development Benue State sector Commander of the Federal road safety FRS Mr Stephen Ayodele has confirmed incident.

He attributed the accident to speeding if not it could have been avoided lamenting if the duo consequently it resulted to head on collision.
