Renewed hostilities again was recorded in Moon by suspected Fulani bandits where they wrecked havoc resulting to destruction of farm produce and killings of seven inhabitants in Kwande local government area of Benue State.

Salient Times checks gathered that the incident occurred yesterday, at about midhnight in Moon when Fulani bandits invaded parts of the communties and believed to have killed seven natives when all were asleep in , Kwande local government area of Benue.

Investigation uncovered similar bloodletting also visited in Apa LGA where anonymous person disclosed Eight persons were reported to have been killed in different communities in similar vein. 5

Sources informed that suspected Fulani gunmen struck out in of Elewata which led to the death of two persons unprovoked while inhabitants deserted the axis for the fear of unknown.

The total casualties of those killed in the wake of Fulani lamenting now stood at fifteen bodies lamenting efforts must be geared towards finding permanent penacea to the surge.

Efforts to obtained confirmation from PPRO SP Catherine Anene were futile as several calls put on her mobile phone could not returned even sms didn’t responded on the incident.

It could be recalled that in recent times influx of Fulani cattle is on the prowl as over 1,0000 cattles besieged in all the 23rd LGAS which led to visiting attacks and killing people on daily basis in the State.
