The Ebonyi State Chairman of the Coalition Of United Political Parties (CUPP) Engr. Chinedum Elekwachi has commended the state governor, Hon Ogbonna Nwifuru for initiating an induction training for appointed members of his cabinet

The chairman described the training as an indication that the governor is in tune with modern realities on issues of governance and maintained that capacity training is needed so that the appointees can easily find their foots on the policy direction of the government.

He stressed that the training should be periodic so that the appointees can be accessed overtime

“I want to advocate that the state government should create an Economic advisory team to advise the state on the best economic policies to deploy in making the state viable economically. I have canvassed for this in different fora and I will continue to do because the state is struggling to meet up in terms of productivity ”

“It is appalling that we can’t boast of any manufacturing and production company here and how can a state grow on this trajectory”? He questioned.

“Investors are scared of the state and don’t even understand the state, an economic team of experts will create avenues that will attract investors into the state. We have good brains from this state with exposure and contacts, all they want is government recognition and validation”

“We have been blessed to have physical infrastructure and that is what we can leverage on to industrialize the state and make it the industrial hub of southeast in Nigeria”

“Other neighboring states is leaving us behind in terms of economic growth,we just have to meet up and I am appealing to the governor to harken to this voice of reasoning”
