The Senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial district and Deputy Chairman, of the Senate Committee on Public Accounts, Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi has said that the measurement and survey of the Ebonyi-Benue link road has already commenced.

Senator Nwebonyi disclosed on Tuesday when he accompanied the President of the 10th Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio on an official visit to Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.

In a statement signed and issued to Newsmen by Romanus Uzor Ozioko
Legislative Media Aide to Senator Nwebonyi said the Senator eulogized the leadership qualities of the Senate President describing him as a unifier and bridge builder.

Senator Nwebonyi also seized the opportunity to reassure his constituents of robust legislation and quality representation. He noted that his connection with the National Assembly and top officials of the Federal Executive Council has started paying off.

“ As I speak with you, a team from the Federal Ministry of Works is already in Ebonyi state. They have commenced the measurements and survey of the Ebonyi-Benue link road. I want to assure you that immediately after this process, the actual project will start.”

The Senator who praised President Tinubu’s resolute commitment towards the actualization of the Renewed Hope Agenda assured Nigerians that the initial difficulties being experienced because of the removal of fuel subsidies will soon pave the way for unbridled prosperity.

Senator Nwebonyi who is waiting to be confirmed as the Deputy Chief Whip of the 10th Senate when Plenary resumes after their recess eulogized the sagacity and political will of the Secretary to the Federal Government, Senator George Akume in making good his promise to him that work would soon commence on the Ebonyi-Benue link road.

He, however, reiterated his avowed commitment towards rewriting the ugly narratives of his constituency while pledging to attract more Federal projects to the zone.
