Bandits who kidnapped 85 villagers at Wanzamai in the Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State have released 74.

One of the residents of the area, Usman Mohammed, told Our Correspondent that the 74 victims were released last Friday night, adding that the remaining 11 persons were still in captivity.

“We are happy that the bandits have Friday night released 74 victims out of the 85 they have kidnapped but we are still not comfortable as the remaining 11 villagers are still being detained by the bandits.
