An octogenarian farmer, Chief Adefoyeku Akinrinlola has hinted of alleged plans by unknown gunmen to kill his son, Pastor Idowu Afolabi Akinrinlola.

The farmer who resides in Idanre, Ondo raised the alarm while speaking with newsmen who thronged his house over series of attacks on his son in the Northern parts of the country.

It would be recalled that Pastor Idowu Afolabi Akinrinlola was allegedly attacked in Jos North Local Government area of Plateau State early this month, bringing to three such attacks on him in less than four years.

‘Honestly, I am fed up with the series of attacks on my son, Pastor Idowu Afolabi of a Pentecostal Church by some people, each time he was in the areas to preach” Chief Akinrinlola said with bewilderment.

He confirmed that his son who he said now lives in fear and anxiety had been attacked thrice in various states in the Northern parts of the country, noting that up till now, he still could not sleep with his two eyes closed with the attacks on his son.

‘My son was in Jos, Plateau State recently on invitation to a crusade only for him and the entire congregation to be attacked half way into the crusade” he added

Chief Akinrinlola said that his son managed to escape unhurt while some of those who went with him from Akure, to the crusade sustained various degrees of injuries.

‘As I speak with you, we heard on good authorities that the attackers who are believed to be members of a religious sect, have vowed to always attack my son anywhere he is seen in any part of the country’ he concluded.
