In an Instagram post on Sunday, Oluomo shared photos of his son adorned in a graduation gown.

He congratulated Idowu for bagging his first degree in International Relations from the institution, whose full name is Ecole Supérieure de Gestion et de Technologie.

Oluomo also revealed that Idowu’s accomplishment makes him “extremely excited and proud” while wishing King West well in his future endeavours.

“Dear son, Idowu Akinsanya #king_westt. Congratulations on your graduation, as you bagged your first degree in International Relations, faculty of social sciences at ESGT University Dream Campus, Benin Republic,” he wrote.

“I am extremely proud of you, the fruit of your years of toiling is plain for all to see. Your life is a huge inspiration to everyone around you, including us, your parents. So much have been committed into your education but none of them is as important as seeing you excited to walk up the podium of success.

“May your every wish and desire come true. Today, we’re so grateful and proud of the things you did. I love you and I pray to God to give you the ability to do more great things in life. Congratulations once again for stepping into another realm of success.”

In December 2021, Idowu slammed those who called his father a “tout”.

This was after MC Oluomo attended the graduation ceremony of his twin children — Kehinde and Taiwo — in the United States.

“What did you say about a tout? Well all I know is he is better than most of your pops,” he had said.

In November 2021, Oluomo became an honorary member of the Institute of Corporate Public Sector Professionals.

In 2020, Oluomo spoke of the widespread controversy about his educational background.

He recalled how problems with family members left him struggling to make ends meet during childhood.

“When those who don’t know me meet me, they’ll say they were expecting some huge person or tout that smokes weed because of the type of job I do,” the transport businessman had said in Yoruba.
