G4T advocates govt private funding for quality primary educatio

As part of efforts to sustain an endurable and crisis free environment, a non governmental organization, Gateway For Transformation, ( G4T) has called for a better Society devoid of crisis and socio-economic development program.

In achieving the set goals and reaching out to future leaders, G4T team led by the Convener Hon. Babatunde Soaga visited AUD Primary, School Kemta Ilawo, Gbagura, in Abeokuta North local government area of Ogun state.

The School, which was Founded in 1948, had on record to be the alma mater of Bashorun Kasimawo Olawale Abiola(MKO), the winner of June 12, 1993 presidential election.

Speaking while in the school, Hon.Babatunde Soaga highlighted the purpose of the visit which according to him was to achieve and create a better society.

He said the young pupils are the future of any country which must be tutored in line with the positive ideals of any nation.

He said G4T will continue in is bid to ensure that the needs and yearnings of Ogun citizens are attended to through documentations, feedbacks and constructive criticism , with questionnaire generated and will continue to ensure that people get answers to all their request by connecting the people and the government through all social media.

He appreciated the School for in spite of the challenges, continue to ditch out quality teaching to the pupils.

The group was in the school to present writing materials (Branded 60Leaves Big. Notes) to the 3 best academic pupils in each class from Primary 1 to Primary 6 in School 1 and School 2 as of part of its Social responsibility to the society.

G4T team during the visit, met with all the teachers to encourage them and had quality time with them to find out some challenges facing the school and a better way to solve them so as to get more commitment from the workers.

He promised to seek well meaning philanthropists to support and identify with the school.

Highlights of the visit was the award of scholarship to a student from primary four to JSS3 level by a member, Mr Jiboku.

The school administrator thanked the convener and his team for identifying with the school and appreciated the team for coming.

One of the staff highlighted some of the challenges of the school in the area of toilet, water, security and writing materials.

Also at the Main school 2 of AUD school, the group also have out some writing materials (BIG NOTES) to the pupil and the management.

The school also highlighted their challenges and the way the group can support them.
