…Pledge Loyalty to Party Leadership
…Await APC Directive

A leading support group, Pega and Friends Foundation, has declared its readiness to purchase the nomination and expression of interest form for Hon. Isikalu Olalekan Abidemi, an aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Imeko Afon/Yewa North Federal Constituency in Ogun State.
The foundation made this known in a press statement, following the release of nomination forms by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for interested aspirants across the country.
According to the statement signed by its Board Secretary, Ahmed Haruna, the group has already mobilised sufficient funds to facilitate the immediate purchase of the form for the aspirant.
However, the foundation noted that it would await the directive and approval of party stakeholders before proceeding, in deference to the leadership structure of the APC.
The group emphasised its respect for party hierarchy, describing its decision as a demonstration of discipline and loyalty to the ruling party.
Hon. Abidemi, popularly known as Alajobi, is described as a grassroots politician with strong ties to communities across Ijoun, Ijaka, and the wider Yewa North area.
The foundation highlighted his pedigree, noting that he comes from a respected family with a longstanding reputation across Yewa Federation and Ogun State at large.
It further commended his track record in community service, humanitarian engagement, and dedication to progressive ideals.
Pega and Friends Foundation clarified that while it is not a political organisation, it remains committed to supporting members who have demonstrated commitment to societal development.
The group stressed that Hon. Abidemi’s consistent involvement in community upliftment made him deserving of its support at this critical stage of his political journey.
It also pointed to his alignment with key political leaders within the APC as a factor that strengthens his candidacy.
Specifically, the foundation acknowledged his longstanding support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, representing Ogun West Senatorial District.
The statement described the aspirant’s emergence through a consensus process as a reflection of unity and strategic leadership within the party.
The foundation expressed confidence that Hon. Abidemi possesses the experience and vision required to represent the constituency effectively at the National Assembly.
It pledged to continue aligning its actions with party guidelines as the political process unfolds.
In a related development, a private firm, AJ Pompy Autos, has also thrown its weight behind the aspirant with a financial commitment.
In a letter signed by its Chief Executive Officer, Comrade Damilare T. Ajayi, the company confirmed the purchase of the nomination form on behalf of Hon. Abidemi.
The firm disclosed that the form was acquired at the cost of Ten Million Naira, describing the gesture as a demonstration of confidence in the aspirant’s leadership qualities.
AJ Pompy Autos commended Hon. Abidemi’s dedication to public service and his contributions to the development of the constituency.
The company expressed optimism that his election would usher in greater unity, progress, and sustainable development in Imeko Afon/Yewa North Federal Constituency.
Observers say the growing endorsements signal increasing momentum behind Hon. Abidemi’s aspiration as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the elections.
