Dr. Oluwatosin Adebayo, charged the matriculants to focus on their education, saying that the institution would not condone any form of disobedience from them.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in Ogun State, Akeem Abdul-Hammed charged all students seeking admissions into higher institutions to follow due process by ensuring that their admission letters comes from the board, stressing that failure to do that will lead to problem in the future.

While speaking on the security concern in the State, the State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu, who was represented by ACP Manger Fergus, cautioned the students on the dangers of joining cult groups.

“You are here to study and this you must do to your utmost best so that you can grow up and be the very best in the society which is the reason why your parents send here to this school”.

Alamutu lamented the rising cult clashes and reprisal attacks in some parts of the state, urging the students to rather focus on their education and shun any form of temptation to join evil groups.

The CP said “it is unfortunate the rate of cult killings in the state and those involved are the youths, those of you who are expected to be the next generation of leaders.

“Last week, about four of them were killed in Abeokuta and last night (Friday) two others were shot in Ijebu Ode. You have to stay away from joining confraternities because it is not a group that you can join and want to leave, no, they won’t allow you, rather they will come after you because they know that you have their secret.
