Ivo LG Chairman Receives Award Of Excellence In Peace And Conflict Resolution By Ebonyi NUJ

The Council Chairman of Ivo Local Government Area, Hon. Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna (Confirm) has been honored and meritoriously certified with an award of “Excellence in Peace and Conflict Resolution by Nigeria Union Journalists Ebonyi State Council
The Nigeria Union Journalists Ebonyi State Council led by Comr. Nwafor Samson accorded the honour to ivo council chairman for his numerous achievements and towards championing Peace across Communities in Ivo council, Presiding and contributing immensely on Conflict Resolution across the state of federation, recently on the resolved of “Age-Long Communal Clashes between Amata Community in Ebonyi State and Lekwesu Community in Abia State” that bedeviled the area.
The award of Excellence in Peace and Conflict Resolution was given to Ivo chairman on Thursday 16th November, 2023 during press conference of Nigeria Union Journalists Ebonyi State Chapter.
Meanwhile, Hon. Chief Ajah Emmanuel Ogbonna has divinely been used as a Catalyst for peaceful harmonisation, crusading for development and growth of the Council since emergence as the council chairman of Ivo, uniting the Stakeholders across party lines to approach a purposeful, collaborative and deepen synergy in moving the course of the local administration forward.
However, due to consonant of their assessments towards peaceful resolution in Ivo and other areas, the Nigeria Union Journalists Ebonyi State Council led by Comr. Nwafor Samson, decided to accorded Council Chairman with the honour.
