The well-organized exercise took place at the party’s State Secretariat and was presided over by Hon. Moshood Salvador, who chaired proceedings in strict compliance with the party’s constitution and established guidelines.

The Congress recorded full participation of accredited delegates, with due process observed, including the screening of all aspirants.

At the conclusion of the exercise, Otunba Dr. Femi Soluade was duly sworn in and returned as the substantive State Chairman. Other elected officials include Prince Babatunde Adedeji as Deputy State Chairman and Hon. Agbebiyi Olusoji as State Secretary, alongside other members of the State Executive Committee.

The oath of office was administered by the State Legal Adviser, Barrister Femi Aina, in line with party regulations, thereby reinforcing the legitimacy and credibility of the Congress.

Meanwhile, the party has distanced itself from a separate gathering reportedly held at OOPL by individuals claiming affiliation with the same leadership.

The ADC described the meeting as unconstitutional, noting that it lacked due process, including the screening of aspirants and adherence to laid-down procedures. Consequently, the party declared the outcome of the parallel assembly null, void, and without effect.

The ADC in Ogun State reaffirmed its unity and commitment to democratic ideals, emphasizing its resolve to strengthen party structures across all levels.

The party also called on aggrieved members and stakeholders to set aside their differences and work collectively with the recognized leadership toward building a stronger and more progressive platform for the future.
