Disturbed by the fear that has enveloped the mind of her son, a woman says she is fed up with life, calling for assistance from security operatives,

Mrs Lijoka Mabel yesterday cried out saying that suspected kidnappers have not allowed her son, Adedoyin Lijoka, any rest, as they continuously make life unbearable for him, through constant threats.

She made the call at her Ado Odo, Ogun state residence,  as she spoke with newsmen, with palpable anxiety all over her body.

“My son escaped a kidnap attempt when a gang of abductors swooped on them, in Banda community of Lokoja,  Kogi state while travelling in a vehicle he boarded alongside four others who were not so unlucky during the attack” Mrs Lijoka said with worries.

Mrs Lijoka said her son’s wife and her children, Dorcas, David and Toyin were subjected to unpalatable experiences by the kidnappers, twice when they visited their house.

She explained that her son’s residence in Lokoja often played host to some strange people, whose mission, she said had been in doubt.

“My son, Adedoyin has been experiencing situations that are beyond his age, since late, last month and the development is worrisome ” Mrs Lijoka noted.

The woman added “When the Kidnappers, struck, they succeeded in abducting four people while my Son escaped. Their thinking was that my son saw their faces during their operation and since then, they have been after him”

“To date, the suspected Kidnappers have not rescinded their decision, to attack my son, as they tagged him “security risk” with their fears, heightening that he might implicate them and get them arrested” Mrs Lijoka, further added.

She noted that the security arrangement of the area where her son., resides was very porous, stressing that there was a need for the assistance of local vigilance groups, too, in ensuring his safety.
